Dale Tabrizi, owner and designer for Tabrizi Designs, has created original, handmade clothing and accessories for over 20 years.
Best known for her beautiful, high-quality hats, Dale pays particular attention to detail and construction. Tabrizi’s hats are individually dyed and blocked. She steams the hats using an assortment of wooden forms to get the desired shapes, after which they are sewn and adorned by hand. Hat adornments include a variety of stylish ribbons, feathers, flowers, antique buttons, veils and lace, and handmade hat pins.
Her longtime customers have a growing collection (check out the ever-growing Testimonials page!), and fans new and old appreciate her fresh approach to vintage. These hats incorporate an assortment of tapestries, velvets, cottons, wool felt, boucle, and assorted straws with styles varying from cloches to wide brims. Tabrizi hats are known for their hint of nostalgia; a fusion of 1920s to today’s modern hip.
Dale’s distinctive line of clothing, with a similar mesh of past and present, compliments the hats. She uses quality fabrics including rayon, velvet, boucle, and chenille. In addition to elegance, comfort is essential in her line, and it’s apparent when you try on her blouses, sweaters, capes, as well her knitted scarves, hats, ponchos, shawls. They flatter women in sizes small to extra large.

I have purchased several hats from you. I am looking for a plum felt hat. I have two, a brown and a black felt, which I purchased from you. I really love them. Would it be possible to have one in plum.
Also I would love a cream colored hat, winter white. Do you have anything like that?

Each and every time I see Dale at a festival, she always takes the time to carefully have me try on different hats and helps me find the right style and right fit for each occasion for which I purchase a hat.
My work colleague and I have a Kentucky Derby Party each year and for two years running, I have purchased a hat from Dale. The beauty of Dale’s hats is that they are unique and I won’t see anyone with the same hat I have.
What I love is the fact that I can pack my hats in a suitcase and then unpack and see the hats spring back to life.
